Continuously Wound Spiral KL Form Finned Tubes
The pre-formed fin with a knurled footprint is mechanically locked onto the tube, giving a strengthened bond and high thermal conductivity.
On our purpose-built machine for continuously wound spiral finned tube production, the fin is first pre-formed and the knurled footprint is then mechanically locked onto the tube.
Advantages and Disadvantages
- The knurled footprint and the tube are strengthened by a mechanical bond.
- Thermal conductivity efficiency is high.
- There is no turbulence, so air-borne noise is very low.
- It does not tend to trap dust or similar particles.
- Its cost is higher than the corrugated, L, LL and G forms.
